The present work intends to highlight the significance and benefits of corporate social responsibility (CSR) at the level of companies. Currently the vast majority of companies choose to engage in CSR campaigns, that being a proactive management tool, and a formidable weapon in strengthening the position on the market. Even if you can't give a real dimension to espouse the concept of social responsibility as a guarantee of the success of a company's Affairs, should be aware that it is not only a tool to maximize the value of design, but also an essential element of success in the long term, in connection with environmental and social performance of the community. I chose this subject whereas I consider it topical, in continuous development and involvement in CSR projects, is a beneficial strategy for any type of company. The success of the company's corporate social responsibility strategy consists in finding a point of balance between awareness of the problems of society, the needs of various target groups and material capacity, financial and managerial organizations. We have chosen to analyze the CEZ group Romania because it is an active presence in the field and through its projects cover a variety of areas of interest in accord with the needs of the community.
